Burnson Hispanic Scholarship from Gilroy United Methodist Church

This Scholarship fund is open to Hispanic students in Gilroy who are enrolled this academic year 2022-2023 at Gavilan Community College. Students are encouraged to apply who have encountered obstacles in obtaining a college education, including but not limited to religious, minority and/or immigrant status, LGBTQ, disability, foster child or poverty. Applications are confidential and must be received by August 7, 2022. Recipients will be notified no later than August 15, 2022.

$1000.00

Qualifications:
Applicant must Identify as a Hispanic Student
Applicant must have high school diploma or GED without bachelor’s degree
Applicant must be accepted into the 2022-2023 Academic year at Gavilan College
Applicant must submit a letter of reference from a former teacher/professor
Applicant must provide a personal statement
