The Gilberto Segovia Memorial Scholarship

In Memory of Gilberto Segovia, Professor at Gavilan for over 20 years. This scholarship was created to honor the memory of an outstanding Gavilan professor by helping students better their lives through education, like he was able to.

Open to Gavilan student’s who are new to college, Transferring or who will be enrolled as a continuing as a Gavilan student in the upcoming fall term. Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and be enrolled in 12units or more for academic year. This scholarship is $1500 for academic year. Half for the Fall and half for the Spring.
