Gilroy Foundation Technical Career Education Scholarship
2023 Criteria
Scholarship Amount: A $1,000 scholarship will be given to a GUSD
graduating senior or a Gavilan College student.
Applicants must: Have graduated high school with a minimum GPA of 2.0.
Be applying/enrolled in one of Gavilan College’s career
training programs.
*Applicants must submit the following documents:*
1. Completed Gilroy Foundation Career Technical Scholarship Application
from the Gilroy Foundation website (gilroyfoundation.org).
2. Three letters of recommendation: two letters from a high school/community
college teacher and/or staff member and one letter from a community service
supervisor (non-school staff member nor relative).
3. A copy of the applicant’s unofficial high school/community college
transcript.

Application Deadline: The application must be emailed to
director@gilroyfoundation.org by May 15, 2023.

Selection of winners will be made by the
Gilroy Foundation Scholarship Selection Committee.
The winner of this scholarship must claim it by
December 31, 2023, or be forfeited.
